Awww...the way she ran as fast as her two tiny feet could carry her until she just flopped to the ground in resignation, realizing she couldn't catch up to the car as it turned out of her sight. A child's first heartbreak.

my old neighbors in america were a Chinese couple who had their child being taken care of by their grandparents in canada. they only visited their kid 1-3 times a year until she was 5. The sad part is that this isn't a china only thing. this happens worldwide

I can imagine her parents must have been sobbing with a heavy in the car as well. But some people in this world must make sacrifices for the betterment of their whole family.

I left my 2yrs old and 6months sons with my parents to work abroad, it was awful and sad feelings, hope nobody experiences this kind of feelings.

This was me over 50 years ago when my parents left for works in other city. I fully understood this sad moment.

Why even bother having children if you can’t even make time for them

This was my dad. He didn't live with us until I was 12. When he did come back from work he was always angry and shouted. He stayed in his room most of the time until he would leave before months on end.

I hate to see this. My parent did this to me when I was a child. They should never had children.

I saw my father once or twice a year since i know things. You can't imagine how rural kids in china growing up 20 years ago. It's a systematically abuse.

I was this kid ... my brother was 3 yrs when we were left at our grandparents, but we end up just fine

It's a sad reality, jobs in rural areas of China are not as profitable and secured as the jobs in the cities, but then property prices skyrocket when they're near or in the city areas. Parents have limited choice but to choose this approach. I'm sure the parents are also sadden to leave their child behind to work in the city, hopefully the government will soon invest more into the countryside so that more job opportunities arise

I see another video that young Chinese couples not thinking to have kids in future..its beyter than not planning for kids rather than not looking them after or staying with them own..its harsh to speak but truth..they are not animal..they want love and care and comapany

That's remind me my childhood, I was left behind with my grandparents. and overtime I just not feeling connected from my parents. In one of their visit I remember that my grandma even have to introduce them to me, because I feel strangers to them.

I hope that the parents both will find a stable job and return to their child or take her with them once they do, so that they can live happily. I'm sure she may be breaking now but she'll understand why they did it eventually because there are other kids in China who had gone through this situation. The parents both can't watch her at the moment when they'll be busy.

These are realities of life. Tough life. People in other parts of the world have it much easier. Should be grateful.
