Sorry if I ramble a bit in this video. There's couple of times that I accidently repeat myself that didn't notice until it was too late. I was going to re-record but I was on a time crunch. My internet has been down for over 5 hours and re-editing the video would have meant another 1-2 day delay. I wanted to get this video out ASAP since it's already a few days after the latest patch. A nice change to all sentries is if using 'Q' to mark enemies would also double as a call for sentries to target that ping.

Also here's an Idea for the Guard dog AR.
Either they can base it off a Penetrator, giving it Medium pen to make it a potential Alternative to the LAS Rover. Of course Buff the Magazine to allow it to fire longer, and potentially the Damage too.

Alternatively? Make it based on a Liberator Concussive, I think this is the best idea, and here's why:
1) Concussive fires much slower, which should hopefully make the guard dog feel like it's lasting longer
2) Having an actual CC drone above you should help with dealing against stuff like Rocket Devestator, Broot commander, Stalkers etc.
I do think an adjustment will be good* here, that being potentially more Damage her bullet + more ammo in exchange for even slower fire rate, perhaps around 280 rpm. I think that would make it stand out against it's competitor which will always have the infinite ammo argument.

I feel most things are viable now, with the exception of a few with niche uses. It definitely feels like the game is finally moving in the right direction though, with buffs and more fun allowed rather than pure "balance".

The problem with the mines is they have negative synergy with pretty much every other stratagem in the game. Very often your teammates will drop an eagle on them or some other stratagem and just completely wipe them out before they even get to kill anything.

the thing with the gunships and shrieker patrols is that they are a modifier so you can see if they will show up before the mission which means you can strategize for it

Rocket Pods are now supposed to weaken things up instead of straight up kill them. If you get a good hit on a Bile Titan with them and crack it's armour, you can hit the affected area with an impact grenade, railgun shot, HMG rounds, or basically anything medium pen or higher and kill it really fast.

Gunship patrols are not random. It's a modifier, but it's bugged. It's that strange modifier you can see when you check the effects. This is actually great, and I hope theyll add more info like this. For example bile spewers will be noted ..

Been having a lot of fun running the ammo back pack and the Mg43 starting machine gun and a light armor with the crouched recoil reduction perk

Going to the Terminid Front, you should have in mind that Heavy MG is able to destroy those Spore spreaders (i don't know how they are named in eng version, sorry), able to destroy Shriekers' nests and you can kill Chargers and Titans. So... Heavy MG is my new love after this patch.

I like the rocket pods as a way of cracking armor and then using your primary to gun the weak points

Due to how the quasar cannon is supposedly affected by heat, I think an interesting way to balance out the hot & cold planets would be to change the charge-up time. Hot planets should let you charge a shot faster and cold planets should take longer, to balance their cooldown times

I am a Spear and Eagle Strafing Run junkie. Before the patch the Spear needed close to perfect LOS. If a bush, rock, or anything obscured any bit of vision of the target, the lock on failed. Best practice was and still is to be as far away as possible and to be on higher elevation. With turrets, the edges of the pillar they are on can "obscure" your vision of the turret's target area so move away and up a hill and you may find better luck. Eagle Strafing Run is one of the most flexible strategems in the game. It can take out bug nests, automaton factories, swaths of enemies, and crack the armour of larger enemies. With the update 1 imperfect quasar shot + 1 Eagle Strafing Run will down a Bile Titan. The Eagle Strafing Run is one of the simplest inputs and safe to drop at your feet and will stagger enemies to buy you the breathing space you need to handle swarms.

I liked using the Strafing run before, and this update made it even better. I would really like more stratagems that go off in a vertical line rather than horizontal, it's more useful than people think.

Apparently some stealth buffs include the grenade pistol which fires the same grenade as the grenade launcher. Also a great combo is the eagle rocket pods to crack the armor of the bile titan and then using the strafing run to finish them off. Strafing is also amazing for spore spewers and nests etc. and can also be used to close bug holes and factories.

Gatling barrage and machine gun turret now feel **perfectly** balanced imo.

Weirdly I’m able to lock onto automaton heavy towers.

Also, I have to that despite saying in the description that the guard dog Rover returns to the backpack to cool down it never does that. It's constantly up and attacking

dont forget the strafing run can also oneshot shirker nests, and spore spewers

On a note about gunships: their engines are med armour so the stock MG can take them out, and their patrols are brick IQ you either have to go out of your way to engage them or you got unlucky dealing with a ground patrol

I feel like the minefield would be better if it was reworked to be a sentry that stays in place and replenishes the mines that get set off. Obviously there would be a limit involved but it would make it more viable for locking down areas.
