Sickle my beloved..

for those who didnt know, the Sickle is a returning weapon from the first game, the way it used to work is practically the same, but on the first game, the rate of fire is a lot slower, it overheats faster, and has no spool up time. In the first game, the Sickle was practically meta just because you didn't have to reload it as long as you're careful which gives you a huge advantage in attrition. the Scythe wasn't as good because while it focuses on damage over time, the Sickle does a higher flat damage per shot, giving it more dps than the Scythe in short bursts.

the new Sickle is a pretty huge improvement over the old one, however the old one did have a much punchier bass on each shot, which is the one disappointing thing about it.

stung grenade seems amazing with autocannon. the autocannon can solve all the stuff an explosive grenade usually does (bug holes, factories, killing spewers), and it will be very easy to kill a stunned charger with an autocannon.

Punisher plasma really highlights the issue with "use cases"
If it has a specific use, cool. But what about EVERY OTHER SITUATION. If its dead weight 80% of the time, it's just dead weight

Keep in mind, energy weapons are affected by environmental effects like heat so pay attention to the conditions of the planet you’re going to. On hot planets your heat builds up faster, not sure on cooldown… final answer lol

arc blitzer having unlimited ammo with a pump, reminds me of those survival flashlights that you rev up a motor to charge lol

For the lightning shotgun, you have to shoot around whatever your trying to hit, like on the deviators you have to aim above the head so it arcs through the head.

Plasma punisher looks like it really need a projective hitbox increase. Also found to often go between bot's arms or legs when it feels like it should be hitting based on the visual. That inconsistency feels like it's holding it back quite a bit.

the Slugger has been my favorite weapon up until now. It may say "Light Armor" but I'm 99% sure its Medium Armor piecing lol but maybe something will finally take its place for me

I quite like the idea that they introduce weapons that work better against one kind than the other of enemies. Makes you plan in advance instead of just always using the same equipment

Interesting that you say you liked the sound of the sickle, I think it sounds like a generic ballistic weapon and was kinda disappointed that it didn't have a laser sound like the automaton weapons or scythe.

The blitzer is an interesting weapon. It horrible agains bots but destroys bugs. For one, it one shots most smaller guys. For two it stuns/knickknacks anything it doesn’t one shot for about .5-1 second. Because of its stun/knock back, stalkers become a breeze. Plus it’s got that oh so sweet infinite ammo.
At the moment it is my favorite weapon for the quick run and gun build I use for most bug missions. Jet pack, EAT launcher, rail cannon and eagle air strike. Stay on the move while constantly spamming this thing behind to take care of little guys. When a charger shows up shove an EAT rocket in its face and say farewell. When a Titan shows up hit em with the railcanon and one of two EAT rockets to the face. Use the eagle airstrike for bug nests or taking the out herds of bile spewers.
Using this build granted me my first ever solo level 9 no death run on bugs. Highly recommend checking it out.

That stun grenade really completed my autocannon, i can close bugholes&factory, destroy some objectives from faraway, kill charger&hulk easily. It's really fun to be an all-rounder.

I wish the plasma at least had that EM effect to stun enemies for a bit. That alone would make it such a great utility tool even if it doesn't do much damage itself.

I think it's awesome that different primary weapons are better against certain enemy factions. Keeps the gameplay varied and interesting

The hitbox issue you had with the punsiher is a blanket problem with the bots currently in game with multiple weapons
