1. Ask about your non-negotiables-
a) faith- are you born again? What is faith to you (not a superficial question)
Listen to the answer they/their family give and the answer their lives tell
b) am I the only one you're proposing a relationship to? Are you already in a relationship? (Or situationship)
Talk as much as you can.
C) Character
d) what is your assignment? do your assignments align?
Have conversations about your assignment and understand if/how you can either fit in or support

2. Health -
Hereditary health issues
Other health issues
Genotypes

3. Conversations about money
-who works or who doesn't?
-how do we spend?
-who pays for what?
-do we have a joint account?

4. Point of view about marriage, expressing emotions and love, job roles
e.g. what makes you feel loved?(love language), having children/raising children, adopting

5. What are your views on sexual purity? Boundaries

6. Observe/deduce their ways of resolving conflict. How do they act when you have an argument or disagreement? When they are angry with family or people at work? Are they malicious? Do they stay angry for days? Remind you of the past/keep being bitter?

Remember that some things/questions come up in marriage that you couldn't have asked. Observe. Note the person's track record on character, decision-making. Marriage amplifies who people really are.

It's just funny how it's easy to subconsciously think proving to someone that you love them is by giving them some level of physical intimacy or engaging in sexual activities just for them.
I didn't think I would ever think this way but I did, in my subconsciousness.
