“What advice would you give to the successful candidate to excel in your role?” Was the question I used to nail my interview. After the interviewer answered, I responded and said, that’s sounds like everything I’ve done and am prepared to do. The other question I asked was specific to my profession and the execution of certain duties and support I would receive from the employer around confidentiality. They were really appreciative of the questions and I simply accept their response without the need to challenge or push for clarification
I got a call for my salary expectations and references very soon after the final interview

My first question would be 5, because it shows interest of the company's future and what to expect in the next 5 years. Followed by 8, that you wanna ask for advice on how to excel in your role and be successful. I usually ask what the benefits are and who they carry for health, dental, eye, etc. The other question I usually ask is what direction the company is trending in economically. The third question I ask is will the company invest as much in me as I invest into it.
