Megan Follows is a good actress but she is not pretty enough to be Anne based on the books. She looks like Mary Lou Retton in Victorian attire. Anne was breathtakingly lovely in the books.

The WORST Anne movie. I just pretend it doesn’t exist. I am a diehard, Anne, and anything Avonlea fan. I have read a great deal of Lucy Maude Montgomery books. I have been to PEI and saw everything there was to see, but I don’t know what they were thinking when they were making this movie. Absolutely terrible.
