I don't like when people say "doing this ruined my life" like it's the thing's fault. You choose how you act, it's your fault, nobody else's.

He kept referring to getting girls, too. If your intentions are to attract a lot of girls, why not continue what you were doing before? Having a purpose is always important.

It's not just the hair, his body fat percentage also went from 12% to 25%.

He probably took the McDonald's self improvement course

Self improvement didn't ruined him, The self improvement industry does.

Posts that are splattered over social media whose only job is to sell you the next big thing about self care. Basically making self care more like a trend. That shit can get addicting to the point where it becomes overwhelming you don't even know which ones to apply irl.

When you do it for the girls, it doesnt depend on you anymore, you lose all control, but if you do it for the possible results of your own hard work on improving yourself, or the place you live, or your family, good things start to happen because you put them in motion, it depended on your action first, then, in your consistence and investment.

This makes you wonder how fighters like Khabib and Khamzat would look like if they shaved their beards and got the pretty boy haircut 😂

the fact that he was talking about his before as "getting plenty of girls" and not "i was happier, healthier, productive" has me worrying about his definition of self-improvement💀

Guys, let us not judge this man only by seeing him for a few seconds. This video is out of context a little bit and it is true that I think it was him not improving and not an idea of self improvement. Still, we should not judge this man even if he is mistaken. Show him support, show him it is possible to really improve and it´s okay to fail and later learn from it.

Something that is kinda related to the video, is that self improvement is literally what arcdelio said: going to the gym, journaling, things related to personality and social interactions, etc.

There's no need for courses nor books. A ton of shitty people make money out of the conditions of others, and that sucks.

Dude took "I need to be more masculine" to the extreme lol

If self improvement ruined your life, it was definitely done wrong.

What he meant was that most people apply male gaze to their looksmaxing and they end up looking like their favourite influencer - Hamza. If you want to attract girls below 25 years old then growing a beard and becoming really masculine wont work, its best to just be prettyboy. If u want to lie to yourself that youre not doing self improvement for girls then it means that you know deep down that no amount of self improvement will get you girls im so sorry.

People totally misunderstand self-improvement. It's not about blindly following items on a list that someone has prescribed you (e.g., getting a haircut, different clothes) for the sake of doing them. It should be a guided process, in that it actually improves your circumstances. So, you become fit and healthy because of how it makes YOU feel, you find a hairstyle that works for you, you dress in clothes that fit and that you feel confident in, and you take up hobbies that you're interested in. And so on and so forth.

If "self-improvement" isn't improving you, what's the point?

Can somewhat relate. Things in your environment can cause you to go downstream. Sometimes you don't know what you don't know. With that said, if you knew you might end up a certain way and still persist in bad behavior then thats all on u

Don’t blame others for something you don’t want to take responsibility for 💪. Just got a buzz cut today and it feels incredible .

ngl i do standby self-improvement a lot but like it kind of made me worse in some ways. Like I remember at one point a lot of my friends hated me (in secret) due to me giving off the impression that I have this massive ego due to how well I was doing for myself and I kept trying to convince them to join me on self-improvement too. Also a lot of the advice I was given when it came to women didn't work and the advice almost ruined my relationship with my gf. Like fair enough I probably interpreted it wrong but from my point of view I followed closely. I do appreciate that it helped me mental health and physcial health wise but otherwise some of the advice kind of made me almost lose relationships with the people I did care about at that point.
