We need to keep Yormark around as long as possible.

IF you want an eqitable playoff, there needs to be a level playing field: NO ONE GETS A BYE. So the field needs to be 2, 4, 8, 16, or 32.

Thank you, John. This episode was great to watch and hear. With Yormark at the helm as the Big 12 Commissioner, I feel great about the Big 12 moving forward. With that addition of the four corner schools, this makes for an exciting conference.

Private equity would be disastrous long term. And yes, the Big Ten and SEC are definitely colluding.

I wish the, SEC and Big 10 would just go their own way. I thing the Big 12 and ACC and other leagues could put out just as good a product.

I seen in the picture Yormark was in the picture with Dabo Swinney and Clemson. Is he thinking about adding them?

As a lawyer, I ask that you define the legal term "collusion". The word can be used loosely, but legal collusion is a specific matter.

If the settlement requires payments of more than $20 million per year and a number of the Big 12 or ACC teams will not pay it, is that collusion? The number was not created by the SEC or B1G, but a court settlement not involving either of them.

I am sort of guessing, but I expect that all SEC or B1G teams are going to pay the money and stay in the leagues.

I believe Brett Yormark is tactically and strategically placing the Big 12 in the best situation possible while still leaving his options open in the Big 12's response to the decisions of the SEC and Big 10. His remarks are exactly what he should be saying right now.

"as long as I'm here". That's concerning.

Bret Yormark should run for president!

The CBS sports basketball deal is a sub-license agreement with ESPN through 2026-2027. Any idea if that will be extended beyond that year?

Id like to hear Yormark, and the other non 'P2' ADs and Uni Presidents who voted to give SEC/B1G larger shares of CFP revenue irrespective of representation and on field performance, rationalize the decision.

On the face of it, its an absurd decision from the majority.

Ima be honest, I’d kind of like to see the Big Ten and SEC separate and create their own subdivision at this point.

We have a voice means little. The AAC and MWC have 'a voice' too.

More than 16 teams in a conference is ludicrous.

The problem is when conferences shifted from being regional collections of teams to Brands®. The ACC and Big 12 top teams need to keep winning and then knock SEC and Big 10 teams out in the first round of the CFP. Prove it on the field. Alabama looks to be on the downturn and now is the chance to pounce. (and with all the cat themed teams in our two conferences that makes sense). Or we beat them at their own game and merge the two into a super conference. A conference with Utah, Colorado, Baylor, Kansas State, BYU, TCU, Arizona, Kansas, Clemson, Florida State, Miami, SMU, Pitt, Virginia Tech, Louisville. Some heavy hitters with history in there. And with the addition of Cal and Stanford that gives you a coast to coast conference. You could even reorganize the conference so that those odd east coast schools in the Big XII flip to ACC and the West Coast schools in the ACC pop over to the Big XII (And maybe pick up Oregon State and Washington state while at it).

“Make the Big12 the best version of itself.” Sounds very Matt Campbell-esque

There absolutely is room for 3 major conferences... either the SEC and BIG10 expand, or else there WILL be 3. WHEN will the BIG12 and ACC get smart and merge???

Big 12 needs to make a move on Miami V Tech Louisville and Pitt.
