First of all, understand that you and your ex have a romantic history with one another.

That is to say that the two of you will likely never actually be able to see each other as “just friends.”

I have had several good friends which was exes. But sufficient amount of time needs to pass. I need to get to a place where I am not romantically emotionally entangled with them, at that point exes makes the very best friends of the opposite gender, in my opinion.

My ex got into a committed relationship 13 weeks after we dated, just days before Valentine's Day. And this was after telling me that he's not ready for a relationship, due to intimacy issues. What if me and my ex are JUST FRIENDS now, after 6 months of our break up? We had 4 years of relationship, and he was always the one who loved me more than I do to him, living together for 3 years, and the last whole year was terrible. I was guilty for the break up cause I cheated, and after our break up I had rebound relationship, and when my ex saw that, he totally healed, he accepted that we are not for each other and started to go on new dates. My wife and I were together for 10 years 3 years married. Last year we wanted to form a family. We found out that she has a tumor in her head. that was blocking her hormones. So they had never worked in her life. The Gabe her meds for her tumor.her hormones are normal for the first time. She wanted a divorce, that was back in 2018 March. So we haven’t been together since. Hey clay, I was in a serious long distance relationship for 1 yr & 3 months. She broke up with me because we couldn’t agree on where to move together & our communication started falling apart causing us to fight a lot. She wanted to be friends.
