Think of it this way you dont want the old relationship because it didnt work. So nostalgia is bad you need to build a new you not worry about them outgrow them. Then when you finally do make a move it has the highest possibility of working at this point but its much more likely at this point that you will attract someone better with the added possbikity of yor ex coming back. Its not about them its about you.

My wife of 15 years, we have 3 kids left me at the beginning of the this year. Up until now I see the kids, but have no idea what she is up to. If we communicate it’s about the kids and keep it transactional. I prefer it that way. I’d like to believe she is with some else already wether it’s true or not I don’t know. I lost my girl and my daughter (7months) my poor daughter didint ask for this, I messed up, I’m fixing my self everyday . I didint realize how much of a beautiful amazing girl I had, I was stoned out of mind 24/7 disregarded everything sometimes would even forget what she would talk to me about it’s been 4 days and I’m so broken . It’s my fault I had the world in my hands and she’s gone, she’s blocked me, we were so in love like out of a movie, she’s been there for me every step of the way I don’t know what tod I anymore, it breaks me thinking we won’t be in the same household, I really want her back, somebody give me some tips, my poor baby didint ask to grow up without a dad or mom together . Mine says who knows what the future holds and “I don’t think it’ll work out.” But then he gives me false hope too. He has his things in my garage for a year and a half and pays my utilities while living separated. He’s slowly but surely come to get things but I have reached out a few times. He still hasn’t changed his mind but hasn’t moved on either. But then again who knows what he’s doing. I’m now enjoying myself but I still love them. :(
