He draws upon National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) guideline NG12 and outlines when a patient should be immediately referred under a 2 week wait rule (2ww) and when you should order an urgent chest Xray within 2 weeks.

I’m 63 & have had a cough for almost a year. I cough every day, & the cough gets so bad that I sometimes gag.
I am going to see an allergy specialist because my doctor wants to rule out allergies first.
I live in Central California & allergies are very common here so I’m hoping that’s all this is.

I have a 8mm ground glass lung nodule. I had a PET scan within 5 days. It didn’t show up as cancer. I have a follow up scan in six months( any time now) I have a constant cough and shortness of breath. Plus pain in between my left shoulder blade. I’ve never smoked.

Hi, great video. Very informative.
I have thyroid cancer with lymph node involvement. I currently have searing pain in my mid back going through to my chest but no cough whatsoever. Just burning pain and shortness of breath but could just be that I pulled a muscle in my back. Can't bare my doctor so avoiding going!! I know what you'll advise but just wanted to reach out and see what you think. Thanks

My lung cancer was detected too late, my doc thought I had acid reflux cough. I'm 60 diagnosed stage 4 with bone mets now. 5months out I'm on palliative therepy

Is very mild peribronchial thickening with 1.1cm nodule right lower lobe consistant with cancer. I went in for heart calcium score and they found a solitary nodule lower right lung. Now im up follow up ct so they can see what it does.

Hi I have been having chest infections for a good 8 months with a few antibiotics. I have eventually had a ct scan after two xrays showed nothing. Had the cat scan Wednesday and it is six days later and had a call from the hospital saying there are two shady areas but it’s definitely not cancer ( phew) I am now going to have another cat scan in 6/8 weeks. I’m really worried.
