Recently presented w.stressful situation. My 44 year old disabled son moved in. This adjustment is hard, and although i love him, my peace is gone. My work has increased. He misses his own place, but rent went way up. Sometimes i feel bad missing my peace and my self care. 🙏

As a Christian I am truly grateful, BUT I still focus on the negative parts of my life to try and improve and change them.
Paradigm shift. I will focus more on the positive side, and what I am grateful for which will hopefully reduce the negative. At the very least, it will change my focus. Thank you.

I wish everyone had the space to take this time to themselves in the morning. Avoiding taking care of my special needs children to avoid burn out, is just not feasible. More power to those who have that personal space and time. What is the advice to those of us who just don't have that privilege?
