I keep getting comments about this so I went back read some stuff… here is the deal because I can’t say all of this in a short. I did not get paid to post this on YouTube (only on tiktok). I did receive the monitor from the company. After testing it for several days I decided to post on other socials because I really like the monitor. Its more about most gamers not having a GPU that can handle 1440p in triple A games so they don't see the point. The actual price difference of 1080p vs 1440p in terms of price is very small in comparison though yes.

You can get a IPS 4K 160Hz monitor 675AUD or 450USD, it’s a little more than 1440p but it’s worth for some people, like me

The kicker is...Fit the monitor to the pc specs and what you'll be using it for.
If you are running a..let's say gtx 970 then you are better off with 1080. But if you are running an rtx 4090...then why would you even pick 1440p.You might as well pick something far far better with greater refresh rate if you have the wealth to get 4090 like that
The other thing is price.You can get a really decent 1080 for 100 euro while a semi decent 1440 will cost about...250 euro

The reason I am getting a 1080p monitor is because I play Overwatch a lot so I'm sacrificing resolution for Frames which I think I'll need and I won't be using 1440p much so I'd rather get Native Resolutions at a high FPS.
