RTX 4080 super as a 1440p GPU is wild but looking at game's optimization these days it is possible

4080 super is a solid 4k GPU. Not 1440p

Wait, isn’t the 4080 super on the 4k realm at this point?

Hey, don't you dare say anything against my stolen-1080p-60hz-DELL-office monitor and RTX4090 combo!

For those who play competitive, try pairing a 1080p higher refresh rate monitor (something higher than 240hz) with a 4080 super, this way your overall system latency will be as low as possible giving you the edge. 😉 ofc you also need an isp who has good ping with the servers you play on.

You're insane for calling a 4080 super a true 1440p card, even a 4070 ti super can pull 4k above 60 frames easily

Sure, you're not getting your money's worth playing at 1080p right now, but look at it this way - you'll be able to run that card at peak performance for longer, with games getting more and more demanding every single year. Lower resolution = higher fps about 4-6 years down the line

1080p 75hz and feeling like a king. Australia really lacks a lot in the tech scene and when it doesn't, too bloody expensive anyway.

Well my gtx 1080ti can definitely still do 1440p in a lot of games, but I just play in 1080p anyway

The Ryzen 4070 adapts in performance AND price in real time, just get it instead

I mean it really depends, if we are talking Esports titles where FPS is everything i think its ok. And maybe you want 1080p and 200fps as overhead for your ultra settings esports titles. Its actually more indulgent tbh and if i could buy a 4080 super and use a 1080p monitor then absolutely. Also because dsr exists and technically im getting that line smoothness really good.

I have a 1080p 240hz monitor with a 4070TiSuper and im using DLDSR so my resolution is 1620p. You can cleary see the difference.

technically you save electricity bill money with the saved resources, just make sure to enable vsync so it doesnt render useless frames 😁

I'm in this exact situation. 4070Ti Super with 240hz 1080p. Gotta upgrade really soon, I want that crisp quality!
