I wasn't a huge Limp Bizkit fan as a teen, but after seeing his Lollapalooza performance, then him dropping dad vibes, I started liking him more and more. He's owning his age, he's owning being a dad, he's not on drugs neglecting his family, he seems to be taking care of himself, he genuinely seems like a good dude. I hope his success continues in the years to come. Haters gonna hate.

Its insane how many grown ass men act like 5 year olds throwing a fit just cause they dont like Limp Bizkit

In all of this the biggest irony is that everybody else’s ego spoke against Fred, than Fred ever did though. Sounds more like everybody jumped on the band wagon to bully Fred instead and picked on him.

Established bands hated when Limp found fame with their style. Everyone had some type of a chip on their shoulder due to feeling some type of way about this little band with no ego coming and sounding like Nu Metal gods all of a sudden. People don't like change or anything that goes against the grain. Fred took much of that on the chin and kept moving forward. Limp will have a place within Rock history whether people like it or not.

I never understood hating on Fred. He just chased a dream and made some funky catch rock. Ngl I've screamed out his lyrics on the way to a Slipknot show. It's music

I saw LB in Vegas last May. And Fred was so sweet to the crowd, the humblest rocker ever. He was the last person to leave the stage because he was throwing at the audience on the front of the stage the rest of their Fiji water bottles. I still have mine. And after he walked away, he put a coat and his arm over his girl's shoulders, and kept waving goodbye until he was out of sight. BEST CONCERT OF MY LIFE. #LiveLaughLimpBizkit

Seeing how self aware Limp Bizkit and Durst have become over the last few years is honestly fun and refreshing. They’re embracing not taking themselves seriously. I haven’t been a LB fan since I was a kid in middle school, but now I really wanna see them live haha

Fred seems like a really great guy.. it’s sad how many people like to bash on him.. but he always respond with class saying “I love those guys”. Which only makes me like him even more

Fred Durst is a marketing genius and other “rockstars” are jealous that they didn’t think about doing what he did.

This guy just can't catch a break from negative press. He gave a great shout out and remembered Joey Jordison at a show here a year or so ago in Clive Iowa so I really think he's trying to do better

He’s always chill and relaxed in every interview. He’s positive and always tells people to chase their dreams. They always put on a great show. Three dollar is a great album. Had a bunch of other great hits. He actually brought out b boys and Mr. Wiggles for tour. In this interview Eddie tried to use gun violence and Manson did some insane shit to females. Just seems like jealousy and not understanding anything about him and their music.

Fred lived rent free in all these artists heads as if he was going to overthrow them or something lol. Fred was based, didn’t take himself too seriously and just made catchy accessible music for a rapidly blending demographic. Also he brought back some rockstar vibes to rock that the mopey Kurt Cobain era tried to kill so that’s cool

Van Halen story sounds like a Van Halen problem not a Fred Durst problem

I think most artists take being an artist/ rockstar too seriously. Fred is the type of guy to lean into the flames, and feed the fire and eat up the negative publicity, because he knows, there’s truly no such thing as bad publicity. He plays off that. Plays off the whole “ I have the worst band in the world” thing and rubs it in your face and yet sold out shows and is still touring today. Just how “everyone hates Nickelback”, but they’re really a great band who still makes records and tours, it’s a similar effect for LP, and Fred in particular.

“Tuneless testosterone anthems of misogyny” I really don’t think Marylyn Manson is the right kinda guy to be calling someone misogynistic

His voice is unique, and is very well blended with the style of music. I love Limp Bizkit and Fred too 👑😊
