We opened for Disturbed and Dave and the band were all very nice and professional. They made sure that we had all access, a team working with our rigs, set up and breakdown, and gave us all the food we could eat. None of this was expected. Absolute stand up guys. Dave in particular personally ensured we were taken care of. Very cool dude.

Been realizing these last few years that Disturbed is a lot more classy and realistic than I used to give them credit for, and I was an edgy kid at one point who only used to listen to the "fuck authority" type music from their lineup. Little did I realize that these guys were speaking to a special group within their fans: people battling depression and self-harm, drugs, and abusive environments, domestic violence, mental illness, railing against pointless, perpetual wars and corruption, plus the importance of loving yourself and seeking help when you need to.

They were more mature than I had given them credit for.

I am a 68yo grandma and I don’t really listen to heavy metal but after hearing Disturbed’s “Sound of Silence” I had to listen to more. Some of it is way to much for me but the songs I like are so real and say so much. David is an amazing man who has learned a lot about life that he shares on his own way. ❤❤❤

People who don't know their music think Disturbed is another throwaway metal band, but Draiman is a top tier vocalist. Any metal singer who is able to get Ann Wilson from Heart to come out of retirement and duet on an album track must be a good singer, and the song they did together is fire. Disturbed is awesome.

Disturbed: *literally one of the first few bands to come in mind with thinking of 2000s hard rock aside from bands like Three Days Grace, Linkin Park, and Skillet, is one of the more respected bands, inspired future bands that came after, and has probably one of the more chilled communities compared to some bands*

Sure, not everyone agrees with some of David’s philosophies and opinions, but you gotta admit that he is one of the few people that truly understands how corrupted society has become in recent decades.

This video is nothing but examples of how great Disturbed are and reinforces the fact, that has always been so, that Disturbed (Draiman especially) Never does anything to others without very good reason.

Considering I’ve never heard of Finch, I’d say they sent themselves down the road of obscurity with that incident.

Draiman is an interesting guy in that he owns up to crap and later trys to bury the hatchet. From the interviews I have watched, he seems very intelligent and thoughtful, just my observation.

1. Finch - On 3rd reunion, only have 3 studio albums, not releasing one since 2014
2. Sebastian Bach - Hasn't been in the band that made him famous in over 26 years (i.e. end of Skid Row's original run)
3. Mastodon - Basically revoked what was said
4. Roger Waters - Hasn't been in the band that made him famous in over 17 years (i.e. Pink Floyd's Live 8 reunion)
5. Dillinger Escape Plan - Broke up over 5 years ago
6. The Darkness - One-Hit Wonder

Disturbed got me into metal as a whole. If it wasn't for Down With The Sickness, 10 thousand Fists, and Inside The Fire. I would have never found other bands I love cause Metal music was not on my radar around the time I found Disturbed. So I will always love Disturbed.
