Guess Mick Mars was the only member who got along with everyone, and had the least amount of issues. He was always the coolest one anyway.

I witnessed Nikki backstage once in the 90s. He was making fun of a sixty something year old man who was working security on the side of the stage. The old guy was clocked in the head when Nikki kicked over a mic stand an it landed on him, knocking him out. He was getting stitches backstage after the show and all he did was talk shit to the poor guy. He is a true POS.

I once read an interview where Nikki Sixx said, "I think older women who try to wear there 16 year daughters clothing and try to act cool and young are pathetic" But I was wondering, has looked in the mirror lately?! I'm pretty sure if you looked up "Mid life crisis" in the dictionary, it'd have Nikki Sixx's picture next to it! Just saying

I noticed no one mentioned the way Sixx put down KISS for their end of the road tour and said they would never come out of retirement for any amount of money and then blammo Motley Crue is back on tour doing their own version of their retirement tour !!

I think Nikki Sixx has reached the age where he stands out in the front yard yelling at kids to get off his lawn.

When you give 18 year Olds millions of dollars; they never quite "grow up". And I'm not just talking about motley crue

Mick mars was the only genuine humble guy in crue, don't forget Vince, Nikki and Tommy were all little teenagers when success arrived for the band, Mick was over a decade older and had real life experience, working normal jobs, and playing in multiple bands before crue, he must have the patience of a Saint, to have stayed in the band all those years, watching all the crap his band mates did, how foolishly they acted publicly and privately, he was like the big brother who just looked at the rest of the lads as dumb kids who happened to have been in the band he joined, he left them to get on with it and kept well out of it .

Mick Mars deserves accolades and respect. The Corabi album is the best album they ever made. And Sixx, Neil and Lee are emotionally stunted man-babies that never left the eighties.

If you read Sixx's book, the Heroin Diaries, it doesn't take long before you get insight into how self-centered this man is - and I'm not just talking about during his active addiction. He places alot of blame on others while taking little responsibility for his own actions. If a normal person would have done even a fraction of the things this man has done to women, peers, etc there would be extremely harsh consequences. I can understand why he is so legendary in his own mind, though. When you are given special treatment and special priviliges by everyone around you, it's hard not to think you are special and above everyone else...

All Beavis and Butt-Head jokes aside, Bret Michaels seems like the chillest dude in 80s metal

Vince would have easily been in prison for 1o years for the drunk driving death. But I also know a politician in Stockton who also got off with no prison when he killed a man walking down the street. It's who you know and who knows you when you have money.

I was lucky enough to have briefly met both Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee at a record store signing in 95. They were both very cool and very fan friendly!

Mick Mars is the only member of Motley Crue that I always admired plus he is from Terre Haute, Indiana like myself.

I always thought that Mick Mars is one of tge most underrated guitarists in the last 40 years. He is the sound that created the success of Crue and every music academic or expert knows this fact

Musically he's good. He's good looking that's about it. Went to the big stadium concert this summer. Gotta tell ya Poison & Def Leppard mopped the floor with Motley. Sounds like they really needed to maybe practice more together. But since they all hate each other who cares. I care because if I am shelling out money to see you then I deserve to see you in top form. It was like they were just walking through it. Poison & Def Leppard seemed genuinely glad to he there. They played very well. Brett Michaels had just gotten out of the hospital & he was so full of life. He was just glad to please us.

I still enjoy Motley Crue as a band (their music) Mick is one of the most forgotten about guitarists when it comes to ranking. As for the other members, they've all been prima donnas at one point or another during their run. I could seriously see Nikki begin an ass hat, especially to other bands, etc. I've learned a long time ago, never meet your heroes. I still stand by that today.

I remember meeting Sixx, Lee, and Mars as a young kid backstage on the TOP tour after the concert at a meet and greet. Neil wasn't there. It was soo surreal meeting them in person being such a huge fan. They all signed autographs for me, and were friendly. Tommy and Mick were extremely polite, and that always left an impression on me.

'Michael Starr' was asked in an interview which singer he'd bring back from the dead. In short, he answered, 80s Vince Neil.

Nikki Sixx is not what I would consider a musician. He is a showman who figured out how to make money
