Why does this have so few comments? This is the most realistic advice in the internet

Being great at something you can earn money from, but don't like, might lead to depression
Everything seems pointless

this is good and all but it’s impossible for you to find anything you’re good at from the beginning that’s dumb

michael jordan wasn’t good at basketball when he started

elon musk didn’t know shit about rockets when he started

leonardo da vinci’s first painting wasn’t the monalisa

albert einstein’s first year he didn’t discover the theory of general relativity

everybody who became GREAT at ANYTHING was once COMPLETE SHIT at it IN THE BEGINNING

the key is to find what you love to do cus that’s what is going to sustain you long enough for the amount of time it takes to be GREAT at ANYTHING typically DECADES 10 - 15 years

you find your passion and you obsess over it
studying it everything about it then doing it every single time all the time for a long time (every waking hour) and you do that for DECADES that’s how you get great and successful in that discipline
