When you talked about the expression hit the books, I immediately remember my daughter who's always hitting the books, especially now that she's studying for the final exams of the first year of Chemistry -at the university... I'm very fond of idioms and puns😊

Almost all of these idioms were new for me. I've heard only about "hit the road", but I didn't know its meaning. I'm going to write them down on my flashcards. Thank you for this lesson! 💙
