Originally intended to be a quick victory with Russia raising its flag in Kyiv, the war has turned into a grueling struggle. Ukraine's fierce resistance, backed by Western military aid, has bogged Russia down, challenging its military capabilities and geopolitical standing. Even if Russia succeeds, it risks losing in other areas, including economically and politically. Dive deep into the complex factors at play as we explore how this conflict impacts Russia's future on multiple fronts. 📉🌍

"we are 850 days into the three-day special operation to de-militarize Ukraine, everything is going to plan" 😂

When he started this war, I don't think Putin expected he would wind up as Kim Jung Un's pool boy.

Authoritarian regimes would only be encouraged by a defeated Ukraine. It's important we avoid that situation in order to set the right tone for the 21C.

Basically the options are do you want to lose, do you want to lose badly or do you want to lose REALLY badly?

On a geopolitical level, there’s an argument to be made that Russia lost this war the moment Sweden and Finland applied for NATO membership. If, as Carl Clausewitz famously opined, “war is a mere continuation of policy by other means, ” and if Putin’s goal was to weaken NATO and establish (or re-establish) Russia as a major player at the global poker table, then this war failed long ago. At this point it’s just a question of how much Ukrainian dirt he gets to keep at the end of it and how many lives that dirt is going to cost. This will go down in history as one of the epic blunders.

I believe Putin would expend every person in Russia to achieve his goals. He is not looking long term. His ego is what matters to him.

Stalin: "I lost over 20 million soldiers in WWII!"

Putin: "Hold my beer."

We haven't seen a humiliated defeat from Russia since Afghanistan and Chechnya.

I've been trying to tell people most of this for well over a year now. Even if Russia wins the war they have destroyed so much more then they can gain.

I never thought about this video topic. Its true that war is about money. Russia cannot match the funds pouring in on the other side.

The people who left russia, were mostly young and highly educated. There is a huge brain drain happening.

This tragic event shows how one man can sacrifice the lives of millions of people to feed his ego.

Doesn't everybody know that starting a war isn't good for business.

The question seems to be not if the Russian army will crumble, but when. If the separation of states within the Russian federation is even half of what is suggested, then a defeat in Ukraine "might" see the states rebel. It seems quite evident that Russia would not have the military strength to fair well if even one of it's it's states rebelled. Each state would invariably do well on a reputation front having shaken off the imposition of Russia.
