I don't think it's a coincidence that within 48 hours of Ukraine successfully hitting two locations in Luhansk with Storm Shadow - and while using decoys too - that Russia suddenly started shooting down their own jets and helicopters. I'm convinced they tried to adjust and compensate for Storm Shadow and the decoys with their air defense and something went terribly wrong. One friendly fire incident could be considered user error, but four (possibly five) craft were shot down in the same region within a couple of hours. That indicates a fundamental technological problem with their air defense systems, and the timing from the first use of Storm Shadow and decoys played a big part in that IMO.

Most of the stuff given to Ukraine by the US was in storage or running out of shelf life. So, rather than costing five percent of the defense budget, it’s more like saving money.

once again west underestimated its capabilities and overestimated russians - russia is a "shadow" of the west, which it always feared without realization, while Ukraine has guts to demonstrate and reveal the reality as is
