When people — especially New Yorkers — wake up and find inexplicable insect bites on themselves, the first thing that comes to mind is to blame it on bed bugs.

At MMPC, we get a lot of inquiries from people who think they have bed bug bites, only to find out later that it’s something else.

Why do people have so much trouble trying to identify bed bug bites?

In reality, bed bug bites can take on a lot of different appearances because different people react differently to being bitten. The range of possible signs and symptoms of bed bug bites is so broad that it’s nearly impossible to diagnose a bed bug problem just from looking at the bites.

I have small 1/4 " round red flat circles. I have a few from August 2023 that won't go away. Mostly on my legs. Sprayed for Spiders and it stopped. I didn't see any spiders....so I just gave it a try. Seems the venom won't go away.

Sometimes the skin markings and lesions can be very triggering to most who have had invasions and won in the past. I have to take public transportation and My friends do too so I don't know how they will be trojaned back into My home. I've done a thorough frisk of the ground zero furniture and I don't find anything yet.

I have bites all over my back, in between my legs and it is all under my clothes.from my knees down or my elbows down I have no bites they look like little blisters I have been to urgent care 2 times in a week .they gave me a steroid shot and 4different meds.none worked.so I have been buying my own meds also.it is really bad after I take a shower and when I am laying down at night ..It burns and itches really bad after I shower...I can't seem to figure out what it is.
