Watch this BEFORE buying Husky Garage Cabinets

Ive been getting questions from some friends and on IG about these Husky garage cabinets, and if I regret buying these instead of getting the New Age cabinets that i had in my old house. Theres pros and cons to everything.. this video is more focused on the build quality of Husky and then comparing it pricing wise to New Age.

Do you notice that on the taller cabinets, when you “lock” them with the key you can easily put a small screwdriver/ruler in the center and lift up the locking arm defeating the lock in the cabinet really easily. I haven’t found a way to make them more secure? Such a shame, because at this price point I would expect to be locked securely.

There is a super sale on husky right now. I jusy purchased the 16 piece set for 1999. They are regular duty so its 24 guage, a tad bit more flimsy. I have two husky tables as well.

thanks for showing the cabinets I think they are a bit to flimsy for me especially for the price. they do look nice. my garage is only 2500 sq ft and I need lots of work space, so I did 2 ft deep work benches down the sides and across the front they have shelves the whole length under them for storage and then I put Pegg board up all the length of the work benches and then a shelf above the Pegg board the whole length that gave even more storage I left some of the shelfs open and put doors on some. I did it all for less than 2000$. I see your garage ceiling is not finished yet, before you hang dry wall on it put in fire sprinklers it will lower your insurance rates. I put fire sprinklers threw my whole house when I built it, and my insurance is 40% less because of them because the most extensive damage to homes is caused by fire. and even though it's a garage put really thick insulation in it as if it's a house. I think its R30, and it makes such a difference of keeping it cool in the summer.

How long did it take for them to be delivered? Any weird shipping issues other than the damage you pointed out? Mine were estimated to be delivered 4 weeks ago, lol -.- Still nothing, shipper says my tracking # doesn't exist =\

Spit it out, man. WAY too long because of wasted time. This is a frustrated actor who makes videos of little value that should be 1/4 of the length.

Newage customer service is terrible. from personal experience, I'd stay away from Newage

Looks like a poor product. Flimsiness, Dustiness, and bad machining. Plus they don’t ship to the house. Ill pass
