It was recently discovered that Siberian Huskies have anywhere from 1 to 27% Taimyr Wolf DNA markers, a wolf which went extinct thousands of years ago. While all dogs descended from wolves, northern breeds such as Huskies were quarantined in polar regions for thousands of years and have retained more of their wolf ancestors' physical and behavioral traits. Perhaps this is why other dogs are intimidated by them.

I have had a husky for 8 years now and he has never chewed up or tore up anything in my house and he is a inside dog 100%. He loves long walks and he is very vocal. He loves the kids and is very family oriented. He doesn't like strangers in the house. The smartest dog I have ever owned. He is so smart and very easy to train and potty training was a breeze. He never had accidents in the house and still never does. The only problem when owning a husky is they are prone to seizures. I recommend Huskies to any family oriented people. They love and are protective over their family. They are indeed the most smartest dogs ever. You can literally train Huskies to do anything very fast and easy. When my husky has to go potty he rings a bell hanging on the front door knob. He shakes hands sits lays down. When I say its bed time he goes to the bed and jumps on the bed. If I have to make the bed first, I just say wait and he sits there until the bed is made and waits for me to say ok jump up. My husky also loves cats because he was raised with three cats and he is a gentle giant. He never barks but instead he howls alot and he even has been trained to say "I LOVE YOU "

YES THEY LOVE PACKS. We have 4 of them & 2 are brothers & the other 2 are brothers from a different pack & they follow each other around all day long!
Definitely love to chew! We have had many toilet paper rolls chewed up when they are bored!
They also talk constantly! They howl at each other & bark at each other all the time!
These facts are all on point!!!
