you see, my pc has power. I plugged in my phone into the USB and it worked just fine. I got the pc to boot once, flipped the switch, tried it again, no post.

First time builder. Watched ur vid cause it wouldn’t power on. The diagram that shows the orientation of all those little plug ins on the bottom right of the motherboard helped a lot. I plugged mine in wrong the first time. Great video and very informative!

THANK YOU! jumpstarting my pc using a screwdriver to my motherboard gave much needed encouragement to go in and clean and readjust the power button. This probably saved me hundreds of dollars

Thank you! This was my problem: I was putting in a usb splitter in my motherboard so I could plug a fan hub plus my cpu pump. A specific order caused none of my parts to have power. Once I removed the part and plugged it back in I was good to go! So if anyone recently installed a new part, try unplugging and replugging as it affected my entire rig!

Thank you so much! I can handle basic troubleshooting, but when it became obvious there was a problem with the hardware I didn't know where to begin. My problem was solved at 3:28, the small power switch plug had become loose when I had unwrapped my pc.

First of all I would like to thank you for saving me $120 trip to PC repair shop your video was extremely detailed. I was switching a hard drive and accidentally pulled the power cables but thanks A I finally found your video .

There is one other thing that can cause the appearance that there's a problem with the power supply - when in fact there's nothing wrong.
If you slip up (like I did as I was transferring internal components from a large case to a smaller case) and instead of you inserting the CPU 8 pin (4 + 4) power cable connector (it has two plastic male plugs - 4 contacts each) -in the CPU power socket, you instead insert the 8 pin (2 + 6) power cable connector (which also has two plastic male plugs - except one has 2 contacts and the other has 6 contacts) . When I inserted again the 4x4 one, the PC turned on again.

This was my first gaming pc, I wanted to install another storage device when I unplugged the cables from the pins, then I checked and I placed them in the wrong slot. Thank you so much I nearly had a heart attack

3:30 Thank you, I never would've realised otherwise - no clue how power sv had 1 pin out and the other still in when I had just put it in sleep mode for an hour and a half, not so much as moving or opening it
