Just wanted to pop in and say thanks for the easy steps and breakdown of the installation. I’ve been a windows baby my entire life and was comfortable in my zone but after forcing copilot AI onto me, I’ve finally had enough of MS’s invasive bullcrap. Will be binging more of your videos in the near future and thanks again for helping new converts like me!

10:58 If you do not tick the _Encrypt my home folder_ checkbox, anyone can see your files if your laptop/PC goes missing ( by attaching your HDD to another PC )
if you choose Encrypt, your password is needed for anyone to see your files

Warpinator is awesome. I pronounce it like Arnie says TERMINATOR 😆.
Great Video, well done.

I wouldn’t set a windows user up with cinnamon or mate starting out. I’d set them up with xfce it’s lightweight and easier to configure and customize.
