I didn't see the rufus selection box for standard install or "to go" choice. I want to run linux from my USB drive until I'm familiar with it and convinced it will support what I need.

thanks, you clarified a point i was stuck on. if you click the mirrors without first clicking the download you get weird stuff and i thought i would have to do the torrent . luckily windows store has lots of torrent file apps so i could have done that . however i now know how to directly get the iso thanks to your video !

I am getting an issue, it says, verification failed: (0x1A) security violation. I tired to flash on belanaetcher as well. It worked once but never after that. I was testing out different Linux Distros to see witch one I like and i decided to use mint but now it just says that error for mint (give a similar error for Manjaro).
