Dealing with employees who are underperforming is something that every business owner will deal with at some point in their journey.

You can't run a business off love, trust and pixie dust. While an employee may seem to fit in culturally with your business, if they’re not achieving their KPIs then you need to have a strategy in place to manage this. Culture and performance are not separate entities. Culture is underpinned by performance.

Jack I think providing training for under performance helps alot, many companies let the person go instead of equipping them with the skill set required to progress the business

Great video! I am currently on the journey of developing capabilities in my team. The key is to invest time resources like you said to make sure this person is set up for success! It sounds simple but in the midst of all the issues around hitting your kpi sometimes that extra time and investment gets overlooked when it will strengthen your team in the long run
