Here are some things I do that have helped me achieve skin free from acne and glowing all day.
- Use a gentle face wash that eliminates excess oil and cleanses your skin well. I suggest littlleextra rriiceberry face cleanser only as it balances the skin pH as well.
- Eat a nutritious diet. Stay away from oily, junk, and spicy foods. Opt for vegetables, fruits, and foods rich in vitamins C, E, A, antioxidants, and minerals.
- Exercise helps purify impurities, so make sure to exercise regularly to cleanse your whole body.
- Avoid touching your face often coz our hands are generally full of germs that can lead to pimples when they touch the face.
- Once or twice a week, use an oil or serum for a face massage to improve circulation.
- Weekly, do a cleanup routine: cleanse, steam, scrub, apply a mask, and rub 2-3 ice cubes.
- Clean your brushes and other items you use coz they can host germs that can cause pimples when they come into contact with your skin.

Remember guys, every skin is different. What works for one, may not work for another and vice versa. For example, she might be allergic to some ingredients or she might have super sensitive skin so these stuff don't work for HER. Aloe vera is considered a holy grail to many of us because it works for US. I recently bought St Ives soft scrub and it's wonderful for my acne prone skin. I use it once a week. Basically my point is, don't compare your skincare journey to others, just know your skin and what it needs. :)

2024 Update: I will never buy st Ives ever again. It belongs to Unilever which is a zionist company that supports the occupation of Palestine. Boycott and reject zionism, do not fund genocide.

Ice cubes works in my oily skin, it also removes reddish pimple marks, .. makes my face look more fresh. As for Aloe vera, I used it when I have sunburn skin once, and it also worked.

Ice cubes or dipping your face with cold water can decrease redness and Aloe vera can help reduce inflammation and redness it also soothes the skin. It depends on the persons skin type and how you use the product.

I think most of the ingredients posted here are really going to make your acne worse because most of the time people DIY their skin care by using food grade ingredients and not the cosmetic grade counterpart of those ingredients that are stable enough to apply to your skin.

Same I used so many things for my acne, even proactive but the only thing that worked was when the dermatologist prescribed that I use tretinion cream

If you're skin still red, don't use acid ingredients (vit c, vinegars). You first need to calm your skin, so aloe vera, oat and honey do work. But use a refined one (like in a skincare product) not diy. ALSO always used cream afterwards. If you just like use aloe vera gel then IT IS NOT ENOUGH. After all that done and your skin got dull and crusty, then you can use acid type of skin care (not diy pls) to cleanse all the crusty skin.

Awww.. Sorry to hear that.. I even use Celeteque wash + Eskinol (Papaya) + Aloe Vera and my skin is great after suffering acne breakouts when I was at university. I just add Biore sunscreen in the morning and Ponds Age Miracle night cream.

if you have a damaged skin barrier, probably stop using ALL products except for a good moisturizer that you know works for your skin. i’ve tried it, and my skin barrier healed in days and now, i can use my normal products again (and, i’m avoiding the stuff that probably caused my barrier damage :)

I feel you. All products mentioned also made my acne worse including aloe vera. Those physical exfoliators like St. Ives are also baddd!

I have hormonal cystic type as diagnosed by my doctor and any moisturizing agents especially the one's with thick consistencies made my CA worse. It seems that it clogs my pores. So I stop using moisturizers all together. On the other hand, thin consistency serums with active ingredients like niacinamide and vitamin c really helped me a lot. My skin became clearer when I made my routine simple.

1) Aha Bha facial wash
2) Moisturizing toner
3) Serums (niacinamide with vit c)
4) Water based sunblock

And natural supplements to balance my hormones.

Awe I feel you girl <3 I wasted so much time and money attempting to clear my acne :( I had to see a dermatologist to finally get clear. If no products help it is most likely an internal issue like mine. Wish you the best bb <3

I use the st Ives scrub it keeps my skin hella soft. I didn’t use it for years because everyone was bashing it. But my skin looks brighter when I use it
