I am actually good at holding deep conversations that at a point I considered the daily short talks and stories are useless, but... I was wrong. I needed to master both types to connect with more people.

"Open so many door that you will cherish for the rest of your life".

Some time ago I started a convo with a guy next to me on a plane. We had almost nothing in common except that we are both on a plane. We talked for 3 hours straight and he taught me so much in life I never saw.

This is why I watch video's like these. I helps me to get these types of moments.

I had a deep conversation with my crush. We talked about our secrets, she told me something she never told anyone else before and I told her something I never told anyone else before. It is weird because it was the first time I felt like I *knew* her.

In order to have a deep conversation, 3 things need to happen:

- You must first build rapport, begin with shallow conversation and humor. To get the loop started, someone has to be willing to share first. To do this reach deep down and express your true feelings and opinions about things, avoid facts and share emotion (Start with positive emotions first).

- Ask the other person about themselves. Listen, be present and at the end ask them to elaborate.

- Relate. Share an experience of when you felt the same way as they did in the shared scenario.

As the conversation flows you can naturally move the conversation towards vulnerability, these conversations are the most appreciated.

I wanna have deep conversations but the shit that I'm bringing is too transcendental for all of these heathens.

Almost 80-90% of my statements are about anxiety or depression, I feel so depressing; thanks for making these, I feel constantly lonely as an extrovert and it hurts a lot, you’ve helped so much in the little things I can do to self-improve without it being too out of the realm of possibility with a disorder

Have you heard of a saying 'people only ask about your dreams so that they can tell you theirs'? It's like a deep convo is about to start but then I get stuck in listen mode, then my focus and engage stamina slowly depletes lol. Thanks for the video, it helped remind me what a good conversation should be like.

My brother taught me this at a young age I'm thankful. It's literally helped me in every area of relationships. Friends, employment, romance, networking for future opportunities. I dont feel like I've used it enough but I also feel like a lot of people are simple base level thinking beings. Materialistic and vain interests. Easiest way to get gratification because they're given up hope on actually satisfaction and joy of purpose.

I have realised my communicational skills have suffered really badly over the years but obviously realising when it was all a bit late. Finding your page has helped me start to turn it around. I have a clear direction now. I am listening to your points and I am now starting to apply them. Thank you!

This video made me think of conversations in a completely different way. I’ve always had a rough time developing deep relationships, to a point where I feel like I have a real friend who understands me fully and whom I can understand fully. Before I never thought about trying to advance in to a deep conversation, and I think that’s why I for the most of my life, have really only just been scratching the surface of other people.

I have subbed and unsubbed to many, many, many channels since I started YouTube as a child and I can confidently say this is *the* best channel I've ever run into. To the point, great content, quality production, applicable material, and generally very inspirational and genuinely life-changing stuff. A lot of what you say resonates with me and it inspires me to just go out and practice these things and not be mad at myself for being new to these skills. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much.

This video reminds of the important fact that surface conversations are the building blocks to deep conversations.

I was weak at social skills. I used to talk to people with deep conversations all the time and it keeps people away.

Thank you for making the world a better place.

He's right. I found out that sharing information first is EXTREMELY effective at getting people to open up and trust you. Of course you should not manipulate this expecting something in return, but it does wonders if you want to get to know someone better
