This is Felix’s first driving lesson, before the lesson we went over all the controls and talked about how everything will be carried out. Felix already knows a lot about the mechanics of a car which made it much easier for him to put everything into practice.

Felix will absolutely rock his exam. And the fact he drove before, sure it helps, but he drove an automatic and still his clutch control and gear changes are just superb. The fact he picked up some "habits" is just proof he has a natural driving talent. Good luck on his exam. Wish will see more of his lessons, if he is ok with it of course :)

I must say that you are so good! I had 20 hours of lessons but I haven't been taught how to control crutch properly. When I tried to stop, my car had been jerky many times but my instructor said to me only 'press gently' and he never taught me how to control by using crutch and break properly. I learn a lot from driving video clips here, especially you teach so well. Thums up! Felix is so lucky and I'm jealous. :)

Jumping on the bandwagon to say I completed my driving test about an hour ago and passed with 4 minors!

Advice from me is your nerves can be your biggest enemy sometimes! It definitely made my test driving more jolty than it needed to be. What helped is thinking about the examiner as simply another driving instructor that is viewing your progress, not an exam. Also, if you do make mistakes don't dwell on them, just move on and focus on the road ahead. What might be a mistake to you might not have even been something noteworthy for the examiner. Now the real driving test comes once you're on the road by yourself 🤪😁

Very well done on your first driving lesson young man. Unlike me, my first 10 lessons were worse. My tutor was pissed off because my progress was quite slow. I made same mistakes over and over and over again. I was nervous when driving, I told myself to relax, it worked for a few minutes but eventually getting tense again.
