I had my driving test today at Mill Hill and fortunately I passed with 5 minor mistakes ( almost failed in uphill before mini roundabout, but I managed to control the situation well). Ngl that's the speed at which all learners should normally be driving. Last Tuesday when you were live during a driving lesson, the learner was just driving too fast. At one point it felt like he's gone pretty much beyond the speed limit. Idk why he was driving so fast. Otherwise all your videos are really helpful. Keep up the good work!!

I know this is a 5 month old video, but I think another part of it is getting used to someone talking to you whilst your actively trying to move/stop the car. I had my first lesson 2 days ago, and I remember that sometimes when my instructor told me to put my left foot down (because it was hovering) I’d sometimes push it down on the clutch, instead of just on the ground😂

Wow. Mirror checks from the beginning. Thorough teaching I guess. My instructor never taught mirrors from the beginning. And barely mentioned them 8 months later. In the beginning we spent loads of lessons doing the same circle of a residential area. He wasn't a good instructor hence why all his students failed.

The break was my biggest issue I’ve had about 10 lessons now and it’s been really hard for me to get the break but I’ve really improved on it now

I associate the hand brake with the ‘foot brake’, in that I can release the hand brake as soon as my foot is on the brake pedal (exception starting on a clear slope) and vice versa that I only lift my foot off the brake pedal after I set my handbrake.

Rewatching Millie's journey and it's so interesting, my instructor makes me do a handbrake start with the bite point ready every time before I move off! I don't know if this is wrong but it feels like much more effort... Thanks for showing me another way!
