2:20 Can we just talk about how Eurylochous was trying to guide his fried to safety? This hurt my heart.

I know that people hate on him for opening the bag, but they are forgetting they wouldn't even need the bag if Odysseus just killed Cyclops.

Everyone is equal to blame.

On a serious note, this is a really good animatic, my second favourite by far. I love how you still gave everyone a unique face to emphasise their character and i'm a big fan of Scylla's design. I love how you kept her still "human" despite her turning into a monster. As a Greek, i appreciate the blood, sweat and skill you've poured in this animatic alone - and how expressive you made Odysseus. My favourite moment probably was Eurylochus running away with his friend hand in hand, only for them to get snatched away

My only criticism is the handle on eurylochus' sword being too small but that's just me being a history freak :P all in all this was an amazing animatic. Keep it up!

This animatic was incredible, the designs for all the characters were great, Scylla felt really eerie, the bit with Eurylochus from 2:20 to 2:33 hurts to watch, and the syncing deaths to screams was well done (don’t know exactly how many animatics actually do it but I really like how yours highlighted it)

This is stunning! The way of Eury figuring out is by him dropping it and a man dying for it in his stead. Love that drama. I wanna point out to yall btw, you have to give six up to Scylla to go through her domain. It was either that or Clypius i believe its spelled. Its a whirl pool that eats ships whole if you dont go through exactly when it spits up water. Youd have to get it frame perfect, like a speed runner getting a skip thats near impossible to replicate. Also also, even Poseidon fears Scylla. Oddy probably wanted to be sure that Poseidon wouldnt interfere with this leg of the journey, so he goes through Scyllas domain and gives up six men. He probably had the torch plan in place already, and then Eury tells him that Eury was the one who opened the bag. It was him who caused them to have to lose almost all of their fleet. It was him who kept Oddy away from his wife and child. I have to imagine that Oddy chose to have his own brother in law choose who gets the torches in that moment. There had to be punishment. There had to be pain. Why not give the guilt and death to the one who caused it all?
