Guess who had problems in making this animatic
Just a few app related problems, it didn’t affect it too much
Anyways the action scenes were absolute hell, it was fine in sketch, but once I was coloring it became a complete nighhtmare
Was it fun? Hell yea
Did I want to throw my Ipad across my room and shatter it? Also yes

The way that Odysseus ducked and let one of the men with the torch get eaten is amazing 😍 Eurylochus realising the sacrifice plan when he sees the victims are the one with torches and feeling heartbroken 💔 god I also love Odysseus feeling of betrayal when he found out who opened the wind bag! I could go on about this, amazing animatic as always!!

I love how when Scylla first appears, his eye glows white like hers. Kind of driving forward that “we are the same you and I”, same with that smile she gave before disappearing under the water

Oh my godddd I have so much I wanna geek out abt!!

First of all, the animation here at 0:16 ?? Fucking amazing. I love how restless Odysseus seems! It subtly shows that he’s a lil nervous abt sacrificing the six men, but he’s desperate and is willing to do whatever it takes to make it home

And then at 0:21 HIS EYES!! The tiny shifting of his pupils captures his emotions so well, but you barely get a glimpse of it before it’s gone

0:45 I just rlly love ur design of Odysseus here. His hair, his expression - ughhhh he’s so pretty and so tortured I wanna put him in a waffle maker

The moment between 1:13 and 1:20 ? BEAUTIFUL. I love the shift in Ody’s expression, the visible struggle between shock and resentment, I LOVE IT SO MUCH

The entire sequence of Scylla ripping the men apart is just, , wow. Actually WOW. The animation is lovely, the design for Scylla and how her heads work is so unique, and the way Odysseus DUCKS DOWN SO THAT LAST GUY CAN GET EATEN?? You can see so clearly how terrified and betrayed Eurylochus is at the end, it leads so well into Mutiny!!!

Amazing work as always Crashite. I missed ur epic art!

This is the exact type of terrifying that Scylla needs to be !!!! I think from all the ones I saw that were all amazing, yours might be my favorite !!! The design of Scylla is truly on point I am in lovveee !!!! Plus the way the soldier are getting snatched by the heads from behind !!! Perfectly handled !!!!

This is easily the best animatic for Scylla I've found if not the best one for the epic series as a whole. That animation is so smooth, I love it!

It looks like Eurylochus could see Scylla and Odysseus sing to each other at the end, omg the horror he must have felt as his captain and a monster locked eyes and knew they were the same

The fluidity of the animation, Odysseus' expressions and the general movement of hair and gestures, Scylla's beautiful and creepy design of her interacting with fish and the head she resides in.. This animatic is incredible from head to toe and you are amazing!! 💚🐟
