I frequently forget that snapshots are available. I am used to making virtual copies, stepping back in the history, and so forth. Good examples, you sold me!

Thanks Anthony, I never knew about snapshots! I would love to see you do a video on the pros and cons of smart objects in Photoshop. I don’t really understand them. Thank you!

How do you figure all this stuff out? Great tips

Thank you, Anthony, I really appreciate your videos. I think I will use snapshots most of the time. One disadvantage, though: you cannot see which images have snapshots without opening them. In that respect, VC's are preferable

Once again great video! But the thing that I was hoping to get answered actually wasn't in the video. Often I edit photos on my iPhone with mobile Lightroom. It has "versions". I know my photos get synced with PC Lightroom and I thought this would be the way I could find my other versions. I thought I had the eureka moment but sadly clicking "snapshot" didn't reveal my mobile created versions on the photo synced to Lightroom. I guess I have to keep searching.

Hmmm, I mistakenly thought this was going to be multiple versions how you got them all over your library and how to get ride of them, maybe next time:). Thanks for posting, I think the VC method seems actually a little less involved imo. Have a great weekend.

Hey Anthony what if you wanted to have a version with no boats (clone them out in Photoshop) and one version with boats? Thank you

I like having this multiple versions ability; thanks for this video! Question: are Lightroom snapshots saved once you close your session? I'll test this but it seems I remember from Photoshop that once you close out Photoshop, the snapshots are 'gone' (as they are temporary); wondering if Lightroom behavior is same/different?

Is it possible to export multiple versions of the snapshot at once?
