I call it the hump. Starting anything new involves getting over the hump. Once you have tried enough new things you instinctively understand that the hump is temporary.

"Impatience in action, patience in payoff"
Can't recall who said this, but is a good one.

Did this about 6 weeks ago for the first time in my life, I took two weeks off work to kick off the project and then spent the next 2 to 3 weeks every waking hour to get it to a place where it just requires an hour or two a day to maintain now. Now I'm already feeling like adding a 2nd project with that one being manageable. Perfect timing to see this now and have it explained!

As someone running 6 businesses, I only start projects that I know are "frontloadable" and are possible to automate/delegate/outsource in the short-term, but I haven't thought about it like this before. It's precisely what I do. Brilliant analogy and visualization!

I've been attempting to deal with multiple projects and I see that you arrived at the similar conclusions I deduced. It's really comforting to hear the same insights from a different person.

I personally do many at a time and just consider everything a life project. Then it all gets done. Break it all into small systems and chip away. If it gains massive success in a decade, that's great, even more in twenty? Fantastic.

Thank you for short video, no music and authenticity.

Very good analogy of launching projects with laughing airplanes 👍. Almost immediately, I had a boost of motivation and excitement to pursue my life projects. 😊

I knew about the incredible power of building habits. But never tought of using that knowledge to help me give my everything when I'm nearing the peak of efforts. The idea that habit building ain't far away when efforts are at perceived peak is wonderful! Thank you!

He’s actually describing the “hero’s journey”!
Truth is, your whole LIFE is this.
Not just starting a new job or learning each task yourself in a business and then handing it off to staff.
In truth, your whole life is just fractals of this.
I challenge anyone to show me ANYTHING….ANY ACTION OR EXPERIENCE that isn’t this.
Can anyone do it?

Starting something is so hard but with consistently and continuously doing that you will get momentum and make it habit then it will be easy for you.

Thank you so much, that explains perfectly, why I am so burnt out and don’t seem to get really started. I figured the problem was something like this. I had to change the concept of all projects several times. Now it has become quite clear, what I have to do, but I am still in the initial phase and have to work on all the first few steps.

Loved the question! I estimated 1, 950, 000 people (195 Countries in the world, estimating each one has a major airport with 50 international flights an hour carrying 200 passengers). Was close! 0:44

I’ve worked like this, with Front-loading, with almost every project I’ve ever done. I didn’t know this was what I was doing when I was younger, but this habit made me seem very “smart” to classmates and it makes me seem “put together” to colleagues at work. I have gone back to non-employee work as I ramp up in my own business. However, I actually had to put aside working on my business to learn this new gig. But I know I am giving maximum focus to this project so that I can go back to working on my business without feeling as if I am not doing my best in both businesses. I was having some doubts recently because I had to completely put aside one project in order to quickly become efficient in this gig work. This short video reminded me of my natural rhythm. And I am encouraged to recall that I will reach the point (soon) where I can decrease the amount of effort I put into this gig and go back to progressing in my own company.

absoltuely, when i coach people to start going to the gym. i recommend them having time off work/starting gym during slow times, for 2/3 weeks. it runs contrary to what alot of online hustle gurus say about working hard with all pistons running hot.
