I've never been jealous in my life but, I'm an anomaly. It's so weird. For thousands of years, multiple wives and concubines was the norm like eating breakfast. But now people use the past 300 years of monogamy to guide their life. Even though divorce rates are so high. If monogamy was that great then, why don't people stay married?

Multiple wives? Hell ya! Why not? It’s very common in many countries and cultures. The wives actually support each other in many ways. Also, in a Muslim family, if the wife or wives have jobs outside the house, they keep their own money. Their husbands are required to provide the housing, food, clothes, and maintenance required by the wife, (wives). I know an OFW from the Philippines that works as a housemaid in Dubai for one of these type wives. She lives in her own house with her children, and her Husband spends a night or a few days with her before leaving for another wife.😊
