Why Multiple Chrome Processes in Task Manager?

*Reason for multiple google chrome processes on task manager.*
1) If many Chrome tabs are opened,
2) If any website is full of ads,
3) if any opened tab contains malware that is establishing unknown lots of web connections.
4) Multiple Chrome extensions are added and so on.
