This scene is so beautiful!! Shows new beautiful sides of Stannis, who is a character that i love, like his compassion for those who are broken and disadvantaged. And Shereen is just adorable. The actress makes a great job.

This is one of the most powerful scenes in television history to me. And listen: I don't give a fuck about a fuck that D&D have said "GRRM told them that Stannis will burn Shireen" -- and I will take my medicine like a man if I'm wrong -- but I do not believe for a fucking millisecond that Stannis is going to burn Shireen in the real storyline, in the books. First off, I mean, GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE. Second off, SHE'S NOT EVEN WITH HIM, she's purposefully kept far away from Stannis & his Army when they are fighting. Third off, HER MOTHER LOVES HER in the books, and is doting and protective of her, not at all like the malcontent beehatch on the show. Forth off, I believe it was strategic manipulation of facts by D&D .. misinformation ... they purposefully were releasing incorrect information ... knowing that the show had scooped the books and would continue to do so ... either with or without GRRMs support ... There are many things that have been completely changed in the show, and I believe this is one of them, so when it DOES get addressed in the books, the 'faithful' and 'die-hard' readers will be both surprised and rewarded. THERE IS NO FUCKING WAY Stannis The Mannis is burning his *ONLY CHILD*. He SPECIALLY SENDS Justin Massey to get sellswords in Braavos for the sole mission of putting Shireen on the Iron Throne in the event of his failure.

I think it's certain that Stannis will die, unfortunately. I want him to take the iron throne but GRR Martin won't give us a happy ending, right? My question is, how will he die? Maybe he'll be betrayed by the red woman? Or maybe it will be a badass death in a battlefield (This doesn't happen on Game of Thrones) ...

Stannis' Daughter Shireen Baratheon was amazing. Sadly she had to die possibly to give life to Jon Snow the new King in the North.

D&D really butchered his character when they had him sacrifice his own daughter. A fundamental misunderstanding of his character.

I love thinking that all those warriors could've instead done other political moves to stay in power. Make Dragon mother rise and marry her to your son, marry Tomen to her cousin, admit the product of incest and let the new couple take the throne.
