Sorry I had to give a thumbs down. Advising people to reset windows should be CLEARLY stated as an option of LAST RESORT. This is an error which is related to the size of the Windows recovery partition. I've had this problem a few times and if you leave it a few days (it's usually related to security updates) - nine times out of ten you will not have to actually do anything actively yourself. Windows will usually rectify this without any user input. You don't give any warnings about the reset being a "last resort" - it is highly unlikely that people will need to do a windows reset and presenting it as simply a stage in possible fixes to this problem is quite frankly wrong in my opinion. A simple Google search (other search engines are available) will bring up the cause of the error and possible fixes.

Option #3 was the only one that yielded positive results. In other words, the first two options didn't work for me. Since I take hardening my systems very seriously, this fix was very helpful. A big thank you for the video. :)

TechFixIT THANK YOU SO FREAKING reinstalling Windows 10 not only fixed 0x80070643 but also now the error message saying my PC is not compatible for windows 11 is gone..I looked at other peoples advice about fixing 0x80070643 and it was so complex and complicated...I knew there had to be an easier way...THANK

I downloaded the Windows Update Assistant. Installed an update. Restarted my PC and try it again to get it from Windows and it finally worked! :)
