My windows pro would not update throwing that error code. Went to the widows update trouble shooter and it would not work.
Said something like it has been discontinued and took me to a MS website no help.
So I had to run the commands like stop bit services and the others and restart them like start bit services. This worked but it can take a little time.
Where is I use ton could be able to run the trouble shooter and it was faster.

My troubleshooter just hangs on "resolving problems" forever. Very annoying because Windows Update constantly tells me there is a security update but will never install it.

I had 2 update errors: a Security update, and a Windows 10 update from 2023-05. This fixed the Security update, but not the 2023-05 update. Thank you for helping with half of the problem at least, hopefully they'll release a future update that straightens the rest of this out!
