I came to this tutorial because I used Partition Wizard tool like I used to do always for enlarge memory partition, but this time gave me some errors while doing its job after restarting and booting the OS. then threw me some errors and my OS just didn't work anymore, so I reinstalled windows10 and tried instead this tutorial, and it worked very fine for me, thank you so much for this solution, new sub and greetings from Costa Rica.

Chris, I just want to say WOW and thank you for this STEP-BY-STEP video I've been on here for years and this is by far the best, and I was able to follow it with out getting lost. Even though it didn't fix the issue in my case, but that is because i tried to download Docker and when I uninstalled it that's when this issue started and it freezes my screen and then restarts my desktop on its own. I think I'm going to have to factory reinstall my desktop before it gets worse. But once again thank you for this and I just subscribed and am looking forward to checking out the rest of your vids.

I did it again off your video directions and got it to work that time with window update completed! I appreciate this easy to follow detailed tutorial very much. Unfortunately, like the 50 other solutions I tried this month it doesn't work. I'm baffled. I have no windows errors of any kind. My recovery partition is has plenty of room. I'm running Windows 10 Home 22h2. I'm not a noob, I've been on Windows since v1. Every update has been flawless until January. Even though it didn't work I appreciate the run through, I picked up a couple of nuggets along the way, so thanks again!

Thank you for patiently going through and explaining what each command did as you were doing it. My PC was a bit different, as I had two recovery drives. After deleting the recovery partition at the end of the list, and recreating it, it did not allocate the unallocated space to the new recovery partition. I ended up redoing the process, but deleting both of my recovery partitions, and then when I recreated the new recovery partition it had the space from both of the previous recovery partitions as well as the previous unallocated space, and then I was finally able to successfully install the update. It was only because you took the time to explain the process instead of just showing it, and then I was able to further research my issue, realizing that the unallocated space would not allocate to the new partition because there was a partition in between that and the first new recovery partition that I made, which enabled me to realize what I needed to do to fix the issue, as the unallocated space had gone to partition 3, and the first new recovery partition had gone to partition 5. After going back and deleting my new partition 5, and also deleting the other recovery partition (parition 4), I was then able to create a new recovery partition which had all the space allocated to it from the previous three partitions, which gave me plenty of room to finally be able to successfully install that pesky update. Thank you so much! I am deeply grateful.
