When I married my wife over 40 years ago I couldn't afford to buy her a diamond ring.
She lovingly told me it's just a piece of jewellery and she didn't need one to tell the world how much I loved her. She knew I loved her and she didn't want me to start our life together in debt. I was successful enough in life that over the years I was able to shower her in diamonds, so if your love is strong don't fall for the hype, the bigger more perfect the stone the bigger the love, get real! Treasure each other, that's worth more than any diamonds.
