I lost 40lbs by walking 20, 000 steps 3x or 4x per week, drinking a lot of water, eliminating alcohol and sugar beverages, and staying within my daily calorie allowance. I never cut carbs nor sweets. I just eat those things in moderation. It’s about lifestyle and not about quick weight loss. My goal is to focus on weight maintenance after I lose another 20lbs.💪🏾

You took me out with “basically 50 pounds” after Alexa said 48. And you are absolutely right lol. Yes ma’am we rounding up!

Losing weight is one thing, but the difficult part is maintaining the weight loss. That's my problem that I'm working on resolving now.

Biggest misconception about working out is that it has to be intense to get results. That’s far from the truth. Walking 5-10k steps a day would do wonders to your body. Infact, I recommend walking as opposed to running as it’s easier to stick with.

I’m laughing at the “I’m gonna wait until I get the right Tupperware containers for my meal prep!” —— Get out of my head 😂

Super proud of you . Losing weight is hard at first because it takes discipline and consistency. I’ve been doing cardio 5x a week and it works wonders. No alcohol, light meat, intermittent fasting are all great ways to get going. Keep up the good work. 147 is a major goal 🙌🏾🙌🏾

Finally someone who steps on the scale everyday besides me! It keeps me honest, like a daily reality check. I’m down 20lbs in a little over 4 months and I need to mix it up to stay motivated. Thanks for sharing your story and tips!!

Leisurely walking does help, but you have to do a lot of it. Right now, I walk 5 miles a day at a very leisurely pace (which takes a little over two hours), and that combined with intermittent fasting I’ve lost nearly 20 pounds in about 2 1/2 months.

After I had my baby I went from 190 to 245. Over the past few years I’ve fluctuated between 215-235. Like you stated, I need to just stop thinking and actually take the steps to loose weight. I’m a fast food junkie with a Chick-fil-A addiction. I gotta clean up that diet and get to it 💪🏽

My goal is 175. I’m 5’11 btw.

I had lasik 7 years ago and I am very happy I did. Make sure to go to a reputable doctor that will check if you're eligible and not just do the surgery for money.
The actual procedure is about 5 min long (the longest part was the wait and signing paper work). I was able to see better immediately after, just note you will need someone to drive you home as your eyes will be extremely sensitive to light. Be prepared for a ton of drops over the next few days as these will aid in healing and keep your eyes from getting infected.
Also I recommend having you hair freshly done so you dont have to worry about washing it and water/soap getting into your eyes. Note, you CANNOT rub your eyes for a little while as the cornea is healing.
As I said, im so happy did this as I've been wearing contacts/glasses since I was 8. Hope this helps

I am an avid follower and noticed that you had gained a few pounds but I chalked it up to the dreaded Covid pounds; like we all can relate to. You are beautiful regardless but more importantly it’s your persona. Which is so sweet and humble. The best of everything for you Taylor! 😊

I went from 145 to 195 over the rona years and couldn't understand why. Even cut ymy daily calories to 500 my daily limit and was still gaining weight, just a little more slowly. I did some research and realized that I was taking 4 different medications that are known for weight gain. Had my doctor switch 2 of them and got permission to stop the others, and the weight began to fall off. Now my workouts are actually making a difference. I say this to emphasize what they said in the video: examine what's causing your weight gain and go from there.

I don't know who started this trend with youtubers that are women that their natural self is either looking crazy, crusty or whatever name. You never find any of the gentles apologizing and calling themselves names just because they are on camera without make up and their hair done or in their dressed up and put together. I wish they can stop it really

Thank you for sharing this video. I’m right at 185 and trying to get back to 145 hopefully. I agree the beginning is really hard, I’ve decided to stop eating too much rice because it’s killing me. Hopefully I get consistent with time. It’s also important that we all remember to give ourselves grace when we mess up and get right back to doing it right. Wishing everyone watching this the best weight loss journey. Cheers, and you look really good. ❤

Lasik is literally THE best decision I've ever made. I ended up flying out to Bogota, Colombia for my procedure. I paid $650 for everything. I had a pre-op appt. with my Dr. (he was recommended by eye Dr. here in MIA) I would highly recommend going to a consultation wherever you live first being that not everyone is considered a good candidate for it. Once you do that gone head & fly out it's cheaper. In MIA I was gonna pay 4k because of how bad my vision was but literally with my roundtrip flight, ubers to and fro while in Colombia, all of the food I ate, & my hotel stay, I only spent $1, 200 at the most. It was a 10/10 experience and I got a vacation out of it.
