What an amazing, easy-to-follow, detailed video. No time wasted, and oh so informative. Currently building a junker character with the main target of living off just the abundance of junk in the wasteland and spending the least amount of caps at vendors as possible, so this is a HUGE help. Subbed, and looking forward to your next videos!

This is perhaps the best junk guide I've And I've played for 3.5 years at the beginning and just recently came back.

Well well done!

I’m only level 19 and this guide in particular really helps me understand how to think at a higher level with regards to the game. You’re very knowledgeable

Hello mrs sweaty, I’ve been watching since about tip #30. I just wanted to say that I did truly enjoy your first long form video of fallout 76 and I immediately was surprised about the idea of the video, as it’s one that I haven’t really seen from other people on YouTube. Just wanted to voice my thoughts, very good quality content, great tips and facts as it’s well thought and planned out, love the video idea, and cute kid! Hope for more to come! :)

I love your tips videos! I stumbled onto your shorts at like #47 or so and its a insta like as soon as they pop up. Its so refreshing to not have another bunch of videos centered around meta builds and how to play bloodied (which I really don't care about).

I've gotten back into the game after years due to your videos and I thank you for that. You've helped me refigure out the game again and enjoy it. Thank you for your content and videos. Keep up the good work and thank you for this guide maybe now I'll stop running out of resources 😅

As someone who just started playing again after a year or so away, this video was excellent in trying to find a spot with good scenery to build a camp

If you have Fallout 1st you can run a private world and spend some time grabbing workshops and farming them for your session. I have an elevated 'box' with the farmable dirt tiles as a blueprint. I plant crops in them as I don't usually run crops in my camps to save more budget for decorating (other than one lonely little gourd.)

I place all the resource collectors (also in a blueprint) - adhesive tree, wood pile, company tea, coffee machine, butterfly collector etc and place that in the box. The cement truck I place on the roof of the box. The collectrons are not programmable in workshops (unlike camps) so you have to put the specific collectron you want collecting out. I might have one collecting junk, another collecting chems and alcohol, another nuka cola etc. During the seasonal scorched I set up the Santatron at all the workshops I grab as it will collect gifts increasing the chance of getting some of those rarer items.

I place the fast travel mat in the box so when I FT to the workshop I'm in front of the resource collectors and above any hostiles that might be present. Turrets don't defend when you aren't present so they are mostly a waste so depending on the workshop I will often let the defend event pass and wait for the retake event. The plans from the initial capture and defend'/retake events yield some junk as well as plans that you can sell in your vendor.

Rarely comment or bother to like videos, but this video was informative, clear, and concise. Thank you. Will be referencing it later even though I’m not a new player.

While Super Duper is enabled if you have the patience to repeatedly exit/access the workbench when crafting and put up with the animation you can get nearly every item you craft or cook to super duper.

Enable Super Duper, access workbench/cooking station, craft item. Super Duper kicks in, exit workbench, Access workbench, craft item, Super Duper kicks in. Rinse and Repeat until done or you are over the animation sequence. Occasionally super duper won't kick in with this method but I've found it to fire for nearly every item when I'm doing bulk lots of crafting/cooking.

It can be laborious if you are doing a lot of items but you are more likely to get super duper to fire this way than if you are just crafting/cooking items one after another.

Useful after Moonshine Jamboree and cooking all those innards into gulper slurry. I'll sometimes have enough slurry to clean out all 1400 caps from a vendor so I'll dump the excess to my mule character to hold onto for another session or to bump up their caps to buy Treasure Hunter pails etc when the event is on.

Dang, this video isda bomb! I'm very glad I watched all the way through. I am an early player that recently returned because of the show and your tips have helped me a lot. Thank you yomamasosweaty! Btw, your daily tip #30 video set me on the path to getting the TFJ just last week! I built my first base at a junk spot in the Cranberry Bog that gets bombarded by a deathclaw, and I've been thinking of moving lol. After watching your video, I think I will be setting up in the forest now haha, tysm for the detailed location recommendations!

Thanks Wasteland Mom! I have my main camp set up near the farmstead in the forest and never noticed the junk pile about thirty feet from it, so I have a moving day ahead of me now! Resources here I come!
