Have really been enjoying watching your videos, you gave me a whole new perspective on fallout 4. On fallout 76 I am a heavy min-maxer and before I found your channel, I never knew that fallout 4 could be played as a heavy min-maxer aswell. Cant wait too see what else you got in store for the perfect playthrough and what choices your going to make in the main quest and dlc’s.

If you choose to play the hard core Survival mode, when you get to the elevator in Vault 111 and have the option to make any last changes to your character, change your name! Even if you're otherwise happy with your character this will start a new set of auto-saves and leave the auto-save that happens just before you get to the elevator untouched. That way you don't have to go through the 20-25 minutes of pre-war story and cut scenes every time you start a new character. You just go to that save then make any changes you want.

Found by accident that if you command any companion ( not Dogmeat ) to search bodies or containers, they will keep getting items, no weight limit, found it very helpful on LONG missions instead of having to go back and dump 2 or 3 times . enjoyed your info, learned a lot.

Fusion cores are easy to purchase if you setup a water purifier and constantly trade the two. In fact, selling purified water changed the game for me

One quick thing to mention regarding the upgrading of weapons is that it gets pretty expensive with higher tier weapons. Also from my personal experience getting a robot companion early that can be upgraded is one of the best companions since it can carry a literal fuckton of stuff for you.

If you're playing on PC, well first off I recommend playing through unmodded your first time through so you can cater your experience better to your personal needs, but after that look into these mods:
- Weightless Junk. Enables your hoarding habit, cuts down on having to go back to base every 10 minutes, and makes it so you don't have to jump between settlements when you forget to bring that one obscure component you needed.
- Place Everywhere. Makes settlement building 1000% less frustrating.
- Scrap Everything. This can be hard on the game's performance and risks actually breaking several settlements, but it also lets you get rid of all that trash lying around everywhere which is worth it for me.
- KeyNuker. Reintroduces the key ring from previous Fallout games to unclutter your Misc tab.
- Legendary Modification. Tired of getting crappy equipment with good effects? Strip that legendary effect off and slap it on something good.
- Sim Settlements 2. VERY hard on your performance but also lets you fine tune how hands off or on you want your settlements to be. You can micromanage every little detail or just point at an NPC and make it their problem.

You got me to start a settlement character with the start of the efficient series and man last night I spent 2 hours building sanctuary and it only felt like 20 minutes.

When it comes to your special, Max each stat before you grab the related bobblehead so you can hop 11 in each stat. When your strength is 10, then grout the strength bobblehead so you have a base strength of 11. The bobblehead will always increase your stat by one even when your base score is 10.

Just wanted to hop in the comments to say that I’m now about to start my very first play through for this game after starfield and really appreciate this video. Even though it’s gotten a lot of hate, I’m hella excited!

Recently started a play through dumping all my SPECIAL points into max luck, max charisma, 1 intelligence and omg it is so much fun. Talking myself out of many fights, shaking down everyone for max caps and having idiot savant trigger almost constantly. 🤣

My best tip would be to finish the Prep School quest as soon as possible - not so much for trade, but as a great way to boost your settlement populations (or boost them further once you've reached your limit using charisma etc)

Love the game and have played every FO from 1 to Tactics to 4 many, many times. Here's another tip i found very useful. When you have a lot of true junk in your inventory, drop it all on the ground and then you can scrap each piece. Then in your workshop it shows up as copper, iron, wood or whatever, instead of showing as clipboard, pencil, camera or whatever. This is the best way to keep up with raw materials. It also unclutters your workbench. Its better to see "iron" rather than 45 cans and 6 cameras.

I haven't played Fallout 4 in like little over a year, and I seen that Fallout 4 turned 6 a few days ago and it made me kinda want to install it again, so at this moment that's what I'm doing and I just got on YouTube to find tips and tricks for it and I seen ur video was uploaded 9 days ago so I decided to watch it and I'm glad I did!, It's nice to see someone that's making videos that have nothing to do with a mod or showing off a mod lol. You helped me out thank you!

Thank you! I've been feeling a bit down about getting the game after I saw everyone call it the worst of the franchise. This made me feel exponentially more confident in my enjoyment of the game
