This program was a good start but it lacked much needed nuance and research. It would be interesting to have a part 2 of the show with people who have detransitioned, people who have transitioned at an early age, how autism pays a role in identity and sexuality, how abuse and trauma can play a role in how people choose to identify, what research and mental health outcomes studies tell us about improvements or worsening mental health symptoms, etc. It’s such a huge and interesting topic that warrants revisiting from a multitude more angles

I’m 56, married with two sons and I’ve always related better to men and most of my close friends are men. I struggle dealing with women but do have some female friends. I would never think that this means I am anything different than the woman I am.

For me the most suprising part of this show was at the start when the young woman shared about being told by a teacher at age 12 that she couldn't be a Fighter Pilot because she's a girl. From what I've observed in the last decade or two educators love to support non stereotypical career ambitions.

I always appreciate the non-sensational conversations in this program.

I reject the stereotyping that tells us what is appropriate for males or females. We are our bodies; embodiment is very important, especially for women, to be able to be intuitivel and grounded, and know our boundaries and enforce/ protect those boundaries. Be whatever kind of woman you are, or whatever kind of man you are.

At some point, before 10, the menstrual cycle must be explained to girls.

As a non binary person. I was raised to just be a kid before the internet, we didn't have a term for gender fluidity in the 90s and 2000s.

I think everyone needs to just get off social media, stop being so terminally online and let kids be kids, they'll figure out on their own what gender they identify with.

Also. Someone's gender and gender expression has nothing to do with their sexuality, I really wish people would read a book on gender studies.

Such a good episode and conversation. I love the diversity of people, and the free expression of that being more accepted.

Acceptance and love is all we need to be able to live happily and peacefully. If the person is not harming anyone by the way they identify, does it matter? Live and let live; each to their own.

I love this program wish we had it in NYC
Non binary
To be androgynous
To blur the lines of men and women.
