Totally agree! I do not understand why folks still follow the 80's tune of "no pain, no gain"?!?

This exactly the reason why I joined coachparry few years ago! I was so tired of running in pain. I wanted to enjoy running & have never looked back. Best decision so far

Thank you for this video! I think pushing through a bit of soreness and discomfort is okay, especially if your first starting out or starting to run more miles. I also think it's really important to listen to your body and understand it's okay to rest and take it easy.

at the start of my runs, my knees are always painful.
What i discovered by accident is that if i run for about 1K, stop and stand for about a minute or two, the pain goes away, even feeling a bit numb. i can then continue running pain free til the end.
Do you have an idea of what’s going on here?
