Today, i will show you some loadouts, weapons, accessories, armor to help you for your next mage playthrough for Calamity 2.0.3.009, which is the last version of the Calamity mod!

Doing a mage run of Calamity, which is actually my first mage run ever lol, just wanted to say the mana flower can be upgraded to the arcane flower in hard mode with putrid scent, it does everything the mana flower does, but also further decreases mama cost and increases magic damage by 5%, and counts as a mana flower when crafting the ethereal talisman

one thing this guide gets wrong is that the ice staff in calamity is way too broken (i used it until after perferators)

Ok, I don't know if you will see this, but against the WoF, the best weapon for me was the Bee Gun, I can't seem to beat it with the Eldritch Tome or the Night's Ray.
But the rest is super helpful and I didn't get any other troubles ! 10/10 tutorial would and do recommend.

Wingman and all of it's progression are really really really good for hardmode, although troubling to get. Bountiful harvest update made them really good

I recommend the MOAB over every other set of wings. As soon as you can get it, use it until post-moonlord.

would like to add, the Veering Wind is a beast in the early game, it has pretty decent damage for when you get it, and the omnidirectional blasts combined with the high knock-back makes it a great "get off me" tool. Pretty good for Desert Scourge and other worms, and is okay for BoC's final phase, though after that point you'll have better options
