The Calamity Mod is a large content mod for Terraria which adds many hours of endgame content and dozens of enemies and bosses dispersed throughout the vanilla game's progression. The Calamity Mod also features several harder difficulty modes, five new biomes and new structures, a new class, more than forty new songs, over fifty recipes for previously uncraftable vanilla items and other assorted changes to vanilla gameplay. Edit: Getting a good amount of comments about this being outdated due to the update today, this was made USING the new changes. Adrenaline rework is included, and Mastermode is currently ONLY vanilla bosses for AI changes. As this is a beginner guide and it's unfinished, I didn't think it was worth mentioning here.

Calamity is unfair.

Use the extreme 'RNG drops from slimes' mod to shift the odds. Particularly for Revengence/Death. Just because you get something OP doesn't mean you win, but any help helps.

Haven't played calamity since dm dokaru was still pumping out music for the mod. I know mostly everything and im trying to get the squad to play infernum (worse decision in my fucking life) and its literally just 3 of us who fully played terraria and only me who experienced old calamity

Is it recommended to try this out before even beating the base game on a classic character? Cuz where I am in the base game I’ve beaten the destroyer but not skeleton prime or the twins, and I really wanna get into this cool mod but I feel like it would just be too hard

So Revengence is essentially expert mode + and I shouldn't enable it in world gen? Or should I still enable expert mode on world gen?
